LA MIRADA, CA (May 8, 2024) - Laguna FC midfielder Jailany Thiaw has been selected NISA Nation Player of the Week for April 29-May 5.

Thiaw scored three goals as Laguna FC came back to earn a 3-3 draw against Club Tepa in a NISA Nation Pacific Region match at South San Francisco High School Stadium on Sunday, May 5.

A graduate of South Albany (Ore.) High School, Thiaw was a three-time all-conference player and ranked as one of Oregon's 50 best high school players in 2019. He is a Princeton University alum.

Presented by Xara, the NISA Nation Player of the week is selected from nominations from league members.
