LONG BEACH, CA (April 8, 2024) - The Southwest Region champs are back with a bang.

Jonathan Santiago had three goals and three assists as FC Golden State Force opened its season with a 9-1 victory over Olympiacos CA in a NISA Nation Southwest Region match at Long Beach City College on Sunday, April 7.

Santiago's contributions proved more than enough for FCGS Force (1-0-0 overall), the three-time defending Southwest Region champions.

On Saturday in the Pacific Region, Silicon Valley Galaxy beat ASC Silicon Valley 2-1 at James Logan High School Stadium in Union City, and Bay Area United FC defeated Modesto City FC 5-1 at Estuary Park Soccer Field in Oakland. In the Southwest Region, Las Vegas Legends FC beat Capo FC 2-1 at JSerra Catholic High School Stadium in San Juan Capistrano.

On Sunday, David Huerta scored four times as Craq Intercontinental FC beat Irvine Zeta FC II 7-0 at Saddleback College in Irvine.
