COLTON, CA (October 16, 2023) - There's a four-team tie at the top of the table in the NISA Nation Southwest Region.

Parker Scalzo scored the game-winning goal as Capo FC beat Ocelot LA FC 3-2 in a Southwest Region game at Colton High School on Sunday, Oct. 15.

Scalzo, a former NISA Nation Player of the Week, scored in the 60th minute as Capo FC (4-0-2 overall) pulled even with Lions United FC, Las Vegas Legends FC and FCGS Force on 12 points.

Also on Saturday, Anatoly Corp and Christian Carranza scored in the second half as Bay Area United FC pulled away for a 4-1 win over Modesto City FC at Cougar Field in Albany, CA.

Evan Snodgrass had two goals for JASA RWC, and Bryan Garcia had two goals for Windmill City FC as the teams played to a 3-3 draw at Cayetano Park in Livermore, CA, and Temecula FC ran away for a 13-0 victory over Lobos FC Patricia H. Birdsall Sports Park in Temecula, CA.

On Sunday, Joaquin Garcia scored twice as Battleborn FC beat Ocelot Stockton TLJ FC 5-0 at Earl Wooster High School in Reno, NV.

In a doubleheader at Colton High School, Ocelot IE FC beat Olympiacos CA 3-1 and Ocelot FC beat Lions United FC 2-1 with a second-half goal from Efrain Gonzalez.
